Lenova believes in springing surprises, we know by now. With its Ideapad Yoga 13 we now know that it is out to gain top spot among all laptop makers this year. However, with the Dell XPS 12  and Macbook Air Fourth generation closely following it, can it grab the limelight all alone? Here is a take on each of the three musketeers out to change the way we compute- With a screen slightly more than a cozy 13 inches, the Lenovo baby comes with Core i7 1.7 GHz Dual core processor that accounts for fast booting. A 8 GB DDR3-1333 clubbed with 128 GB SSD makes working on the Ideapad lightning-fast. While Mac has come to be a giant, this time it is not close to Lenovo on the feature story too—screen  11.6 inches and a Core i5 1.67 GHz Dual core processor  is not near what Idepad offers users. A RAM of 4 GB technically halves its chances of competing with Lenovo this time. Again, the Air is typically light and makes for some great off-angle viewing but Lenova budges this off with a 270 degree foldable screen that makes you go wow if not more! The Mac Airbook lasts you just about 5 hours – mind you this is not for heavy computing—while Lenova truly lives up to its tag line “a pretty normal machine that does wacky things with its hinge” for the yoga. Add to this a capacitative touch screen and an accelerometer, the Ideapad yoga gains brownie points. The Dell Deal Now with the Dell XPS 12 , the Yoga Ideapad could see competition that the Mac Airbook could not be. On the processor part, both are equals while the screen size is slightly on the lower edge with Dell—at 12.5 inches. The RAM bit too is at par with Ideapad but Dell stands higher with 256 GB SSD. Come away from the 270-degree flexibility that Lenovo gives us—Dell brings in a flip-book with the XPS 12 for us. The battery life is a compromised aspect of dell though. It comes for 5.5 hours – way less than the 8-hour promise from the Yoga kid of Lenovo. In the end, Dell is left with a better style, sharper display and a full HD tag that surfaces the only better point over Ideapad yoga. In the war of the three musketeers, Lenovo takes away the accolades—atleast for us.
